Art Ross played for Haileybury in the 1910 NHA season. He was paid $2,700 to play that season, one of the highest salaries in hockey.Art Ross was inducted in to the Hockey Hall of Fame. The Art Ross trophy, given to the person who scores the most points in the NHL season, was named after Art Ross.
